    About this opportunity:Dunfermline Foodbank are currently looking for volunteers for their Cowdenbeath and Benarty Foodbanks. They are only looking for you to commit to 2 to 3 hours a week and are flexible with which day you choose. The Foodbanks are open 4-6pm on these days: -

    Benarty - Monday - Wednesday - Friday
    Cowdenbeath - Tuesday - Thursday

    The lack of volunteers in the area is putting these services into jeopardy and the service may need to scale back drastically so if you are keen to help people in crisis in your area then please get in touch with Dunfermline Foodbank on 07580231286 or email [email protected]

    Full induction and training will be provided.

    Training provided:Volunteers will be provided with a 2 tier induction which is informal and is really all about telling you about the foodbank and its clients. Volunteers will have a named contact for support.

    Yes - Travel expenses can be discussed on an individual basis.

    Experience required:Volunteers should be non-judgemental and enthusiastic about supporting people in crisis in their area.
